Tribute to a Man with a Vision

John Lennon, like so many visionaries

was a man who lived and thought

way ahead of his time.

But such is this world’s cruelty and insensitivity

that 

for thinking many steps ahead of lesser minds

he had to pay the price with his life.

Still, even in their absence

such great men keep making waves

and giving food for thought

for those among us who are sensitive enough

to perceive the wisdom

of their far-reaching visions.

Above us only sky

Living for today...

It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too

Living life in peace...
